First school strike for climate change action in Belgium, when school kids gathered around the Central Station in Brussels and defied a police ban to start marching. 2019 was the year when the youth started to protest massively to demand climate change action from poiticians, with young kids following the foothsteps of Greta Thunberg and skipping school every week, and as a consequene other groups like Extinction Rebellion emerged.
